Area of activity
The department is designed to effectively organize and implement online learning technology into the university’s educational process: digital educational resources, computer-based tools using modern telecommunications and information capabilities, including massive open online courses. It is aimed at implementing the main goals of higher education related to ensuring high quality training and retraining of modern specialists while reducing non-production costs of training.

The department consists of three sectors:
Sector of administration of the educational process for online learning
Planning, organizing the educational process using online technology. Supports the program of the automated learning management system, ensuring planned data entry into the LMS, implementing the teaching load of teachers, forming individual educational plans for students in the system in accordance with the contingent, registration for the exam.

In the period 2016-2019, the department’s employees were active participants in the international project ERASMUS+ LMPI – “Bachelor’s and Professional Master’s Degree Program in the Development, Administration, Management and Protection of Computer Systems and Networks at Enterprises in Moldova, Kazakhstan, Vietnam”. Within the framework of the project, as well as within the framework of the roadmap of the “Digital University” model, a Resource Center for training teachers in the development and use of MOOCs and a Video Recording Studio were created, in which a teacher can record both classical video lectures and video lectures using an innovative method – a neon board.
